At Special Education Consulting and Advocacy, LLC, our mission is to provide the best special education services to students with diverse needs of all ages across the country. 

The United States Supreme Court Endrew Decision in 2017 determined that we must provide the most "ambitious", or the best services we can through an IEP. For us at SECA, we believe in maximizing the potential of students with diverse needs.

We believe there are many facets for maximizing the educational opportunities for students with special needs. 

• Teacher efficacy, or the confidence of a teacher to bring students to successful outcomes, is the number one contributor to student success. This is why we provide high caliber teacher and district trainings. We also provide to districts virtual special education teachers to assist with staffing shortages.
• One on One Teaching provides the individual instruction that students with special needs often require to make gains in their abilities at a quicker pace. With SECA, we provide certified teachers to work with your student 1:1 with a sense of urgency to close academic gaps.
• Parent Knowledge and know-how is essential to assist with homeschooling curriculum for students with special needs. We get asked all the time how to put together a curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners. That is why we host a variety of parent trainings in homeschooling.
• Advocating for student needs is a key component to meeting the requirements of federal law for students with disabilities. SECA provides two special education advocates for each IEP meeting, thorough file reviews, and trainings for parents on how to advocate.
• Assessments inform parents exactly what level their child is at. This information can be different for ELA and math, and provides valuable insight into what goals are appropriate and which gaps need to be addressed immediately. At SECA, we utilize assessments to provide a thorough evaluative report with exact levels for your child in Reading Fluency, Phonics, Reading Comprehension, Math Calculations, and Math Problem Solving.
