In this workshop, we will help parents who homeschool identify what to teach based on your child's current abilities and grade level expectations. We will provide parents with concrete strategies to develop a year long learning plan and identify which curriculum can be used to meet your child's goals.
This workshop focuses on answering some of the most popular questions we get from parents. We will answer questions like, How do I request additional services? What do I do if I disagree with the IEP? What if I want further accommodations? We will take you on a journey and provide clear strategies to advocate for your child with the school or district.
Is your child a visual learner? A kinesthetic learner? how about a tactile learner? In this workshop, we provide examples of teaching strategies aligned with your child's needs such as algebra tiles, ten frames, magnets, numberless word problems, phonics strategies, iconograms, and more!
Imagine an IEP meeting where you, as the parent, are heard, your input is added to the IEP documents, and the IEP team validates your perspective. Our team will lead participants in a workshop that assists parents with asking the right questions, statements to make, and what to tell the IEP team to have a highly successful meeting.
Have you ever thought, "I am not sure this IEP meets what my child needs". In this workshop, we focus on asking the right questions and making the right statements to get additional services added to the IEP.
